our story
In 2017, we (Matt & Christine Ausman) found ourselves lost in the NICU with 28 week old twins. We never planned on being in the NICU, as most parents don't expect a preemie. We barely remember our first week but we do remember it was the hardest week of our lives! During our first week, we received a small gift from a volunteer group, which included a preemie onesie and a tiny hat along with some helpful NICU resources. For a few seconds our fear escaped us, we remember looking at the TINY onesie and found ourselves excited, as we looked forward to the day we could dress our little ones. When families are in the NICU, the littlest milestones are everything.
littlest was founded based on the idea of bringing joy and giving families with premature babies some guidance through the NICU. We created a care package for families in the beginning of their preemie journey. It's filled with comfort, support, information and it's perfect for storing all the photos and keepsakes from the NICU journey .
We can't do this without our wonderful friends and family's support
Thank you to our amazing volunteers who create the handmade items in each box
It takes a village!
